AC Pigou The Background of Arthur Cecil Pigou Arthur Cecil Pigou, comm exclusively known as A.C. Pigou, is beat out known today for his work in welfare economics. He was a professor of political economy at Cambridge University from 1908 to 1943. During his heart he wrote and had published over twenty books and essays on non only economics, but other subjects as well. Pigou was sometimes a reversed per discussion, but he never lacked in his splendour of economics. Pigou was natural in the family home of his mother in 1877 at Ryde, in the Isle of Wight, on the eighteenth of November.
